Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with retailers, distributors, and partners, and expanding Ariro Toys’ presence in key markets. The Business Development Manager will develop and implement growth strategies, conduct market research, analyze sales data, and collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align offerings with customer needs. Daily responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, negotiating contracts, preparing proposals and presentations, and tracking performance against targets. The role also includes representing the brand at events, meetings, and customer visits, while ensuring that all activities reflect Ariro Toys’ commitment to child development and product quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in business development, sales planning, and pipeline management.
- Candidates should possess skills in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in relationship management, stakeholder communication, and negotiation.
- Candidates should possess skills in presentation creation, proposal writing, and basic CRM tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and work with external partners.
- Comfort with on-site work in Chennai, including occasional travel for meetings, events, and partner visits.
