Role Description The Social Media Manager role at Vidyavya is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune District. The Social Media Manager will manage and grow Vidyavya’s presence across social media platforms, including planning, creating, and publishing engaging content that highlights programs, student success stories, and live projects. This role involves designing and executing social media campaigns, optimizing posts for reach and engagement, monitoring analytics, and adjusting strategies based on performance data. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with marketing, content, and academic teams to ensure consistent messaging, timely promotion of initiatives, and alignment with brand voice. Daily responsibilities also include community management, responding to audience queries, and staying updated with trends in education, AI/ML, Data Engineering, and social media best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), with experience managing brand presence across multiple platforms.
- Ability to develop and execute effective Content Strategy tailored to different social channels and audience segments.
- Excellent Communication and Writing skills for creating clear, engaging, and brand-aligned posts, captions, and campaign copy.
- Experience using social media analytics tools, scheduling platforms, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, or similar) is beneficial.
- Prior experience in education, edtech, or youth-focused brands is an advantage, along with an understanding of AI/ML and Data Engineering trends.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment, manage multiple campaigns, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
