Role Description
We are looking for a creative and energetic Social Media Content Creator who knows how to turn ideas into engaging Instagram Reels, short-form videos and social media content.
This is not a traditional content-writing role.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with content ideation, shooting videos, creating reels, basic video editing, trend research and developing engaging social-media concepts.
What You'll do:
- Ideate and create engaging Instagram Reels and short-form videos
- Shoot video content using smartphones/cameras
- Write simple hooks, concepts and reel scripts
- Edit Reels and short-form videos
- Research trending formats, sounds and content ideas
- Create content for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts
- Coordinate with the creative/social media team for content planning
- Develop creative concepts for brands across different industries
- Occasionally appear on camera for brand content, if comfortable
- Maintain consistency in brand tone, visual style and content quality
What we are looking for:
- 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content
- Good creative thinking and storytelling skills
- Basic to good video-editing skills
- Comfortable with shooting and directing short-form videos
- Knowledge of CapCut, Premiere Pro, VN or similar editing tools
- Good understanding of current social-media trends
- Ability to independently take an idea from concept → shoot → edit → final Reel
Important: Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to blog writing, SEO writing, article writing or copywriting may not be suitable for this role.
