ML Engineer
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, monitor and maintain proprietary ML models including multi-agent systems and LLMs to advance healthcare operations and workflows.
Tailor open-source LLMs and integrate enterprise LLMs for healthcare requirements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Develop and implement effective prompting techniques to enhance model performance in complex healthcare applications, such as prior authorization processes.
Build and maintain Python based microservices using FastAPI.
Deploy and orchestrate services on Kubernetes, ensuring reliability, scalability and security particularly within GCP environments.
Conduct cutting-edge research in AI for healthcare, author scientific papers and contribute to the broader scientific and healthcare community.
Contribute to building intelligent simulation systems that emulate and replace service-led workflows, aiming for significant efficiency gains and cost reductions.
Ensure all AI solutions adhere to ethical standards and comply with healthcare regulations regarding data privacy and security.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field from a tier-I institution.
3-5 years of experience in building scalable ML systems and backend services.
In-depth knowledge of Large Language Models (including prompting strategies and fine-tuning).\
Proficient with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, with experience in model development, deployment and optimization.
Solid experience with Python and frameworks like FastAPI to build RESTful microservices.
Familiarity with Kubernetes deployment and GCP infrastructure.
Proven ability to conduct independent research and author scientific papers demonstrating innovation and contributions to the field.
Excellent verbal and written abilities, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
