Role Description The Site Supervisor for the Interior and Furniture division is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. This role oversees day-to-day site operations for modular interiors and furniture installation, ensuring work is executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines. The Site Supervisor coordinates with project managers, contractors, and installation teams to plan work schedules, allocate resources, and resolve issues that arise on-site. Responsibilities include monitoring progress against project timelines, inspecting completed work, verifying measurements, and ensuring proper handling and installation of cabinets, wardrobes, vanities, and storage units. The role also involves maintaining documentation, reporting site status, managing site materials, and supporting smooth handover and post-installation follow-up with clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in site supervision for interior fit-outs, furniture installations, or modular cabinetry projects, preferably in residential or hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of interior finishes, modular furniture systems, basic carpentry practices, and installation standards for cabinets, wardrobes, and storage units.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layout plans, and measurement details, with attention to precision and quality control.
- Skills in coordinating on-site teams, managing subcontractors, and organizing daily work schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, site safety practices, and basic risk management in construction or interior projects.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, project managers, vendors, and site workers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address on-site challenges and make practical decisions in real time.
- Proficiency in using basic digital tools for reporting, documentation, and communication; experience with project management or site reporting software is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
