Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities at interior design and contracting project sites. This role includes monitoring construction and installation work, coordinating with architects, designers, contractors, vendors, and clients, and ensuring work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The Site Supervisor tracks project progress, manages site resources, maintains safety and cleanliness, and helps resolve on-site issues to avoid delays. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining site documentation, reporting status to project managers, checking material deliveries, and ensuring work remains within the agreed timelines and budget. The supervisor plays a key role in translating design intent into practical execution and delivering completed spaces that meet client expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong site supervision and project coordination skills, including managing daily site activities and multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of interior construction practices, materials, and finishes, with the ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
- Competence in basic project documentation, reporting, and use of MS Office or similar tools for site records and communication.
- Understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements on construction and interior fit-out sites.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, contractors, workers, and internal design teams.
- Proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently under time and quality constraints.
- Prior experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in interior design, construction, or fit-out projects is highly beneficial.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
