Role Description The Site Civil Engineer role at Nexfore Consulting is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. The person in this role will oversee day-to-day civil engineering activities at project sites, including supervising construction work, implementing design plans, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers and contractors, monitoring progress against timelines, and providing technical guidance to site teams. The Site Civil Engineer will review drawings and specifications, support planning and execution of stormwater and drainage systems, and assist in resolving on-site engineering issues. The role also involves preparing site reports, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement in productivity and compliance on projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess practical experience working as Civil Engineers in site-based roles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Planning and coordination of construction activities.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure systems.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in site supervision, quality control, and safety compliance on construction projects.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes, and apply them on site.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with standard civil engineering software and basic project management tools is beneficial.
