Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Travel Consultant with hands-on experience in planning and selling customized holidays to Europe and/or Africa. In this role, you will work closely with clients to design high-quality, tailor-made itineraries while leveraging your destination expertise and supplier network to deliver outstanding travel experiences.
Qualifications
- Design and sell customized holiday packages across Europe and/or Africa.
- Understand client requirements and recommend destinations, hotels, experiences, and routing best suited to their preferences.
- Create detailed, well-planned itineraries and prepare competitive quotations.
- Coordinate with DMCs, hotels, airlines, and local suppliers to secure the best products and pricing.
- Stay updated on destination trends, visa requirements, seasonal products, and new experiences.
- Build long-term relationships with clients through exceptional service.
- Work towards sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Mentor junior consultants and share destination knowledge when required.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant with strong expertise in Europe and/or Africa.
- Proven experience creating customized FIT itineraries.
- Excellent destination knowledge, including routing, accommodation options, transportation, and sightseeing.
- Strong communication, sales, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with international suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Existing relationships with DMCs and travel partners across Europe and/or Africa.
- Experience working with luxury, premium, or bespoke travel.
- Knowledge of visa processes and destination-specific travel requirements.
- A consultative sales approach with a strong focus on customer experience.
- Passion for travel and continuous learning.
