Job details:
Knowmax is an AI Knowledge Management platform built for enterprise CX teams. Telecom, BFSI, healthcare and BPO leaders use us to turn scattered process documentation into guided, AI-ready answers their agents and customers can act on, across every channel.
Governed knowledge that drives action. That is the whole idea.
We are part of the KocharTech group, and we serve enterprise customers across North America, the GCC, Southeast Asia and APAC. The US is our biggest growth bet right now, and this role sits close to it.
THE ROLE
You win the deal, then you deliver it.
Most companies split this into two jobs and lose something in the handover. The promise made in the demo quietly becomes someone else's problem at kickoff. We keep it in one pair of hands. You shape the technical solution during the sales cycle, then own the implementation once the contract is signed.
Roughly half your time is pre-sales: discovery, demos, proofs of concept, RFPs. The other half is implementation: configuration, integrations, go-live, early adoption. In practice the split flexes week to week with whatever is closing or going live.
You will be the technical face of Knowmax to enterprise buyers and the steady hand that gets them live. This is a hands-on, high-ownership individual contributor seat, not a people management track.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Pre-sales
- Run technical discovery. Map the prospect's contact centre stack, content estate and integration surface before anyone promises anything
- Build and deliver tailored demos and proofs of concept against the buyer's actual use cases, not a generic script
- Own the technical sections of RFPs, RFIs and security questionnaires
- Work alongside sales as the trusted technical advisor through the deal cycle
- Translate requirements into clear solution designs, scopes of work and timelines we can actually hold
- Call out the deals we should not chase. A clean no early is worth more to us than a messy yes.
Implementation
- Own enterprise implementations end to end, from kickoff to go-live
- Configure the platform, run integrations across CRM, CCaaS, ticketing, SSO and APIs, and oversee content migration
- Run onboarding and enablement so customer teams genuinely adopt what we build, not just receive it
- Coordinate across customer success, engineering and product to clear blockers
- Build the implementation playbooks, templates and documentation that make the next ten deployments faster than the last
WHAT THE FIRST SIX MONTHS LOOK LIKE
- Month 1: fluent in the product. Shadowing live deals and one active implementation
- Month 3: running discovery and demos independently, and owning at least one enterprise implementation through to go-live
- Month 6: the default technical voice on our largest pursuits, with a documented implementation playbook a new joiner can follow
WHAT YOU BRING
Must have
- 6 to 10 years in solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, implementation or customer-facing technical delivery, ideally in enterprise SaaS
- Working command of enterprise integrations: REST APIs, webhooks, SSO and SAML, and the common CX stack (Salesforce, Zendesk, ServiceNow, Genesys, Amazon Connect, Cisco, Freshworks, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Enough fluency in how modern AI knowledge systems work to lead a credible discovery conversation: retrieval quality, grounding answers in source content, handling accuracy and hallucination concerns, and what it takes to get a customer's content AI-ready
- Presence with both technical evaluators and business sponsors, often in the same room
- Hands-on configuration ability. You are comfortable in the detail of a deployment, not just the diagram of one
- Experience carrying enterprise security and compliance conversations: SOC 2, data residency, access control
- Writing that holds up. Solution documents, scopes and responses a CIO will actually read
- Engineering background is a must
Nice to have
- Contact centre or CX domain background
- Exposure to US, GCC or Southeast Asia enterprise buyers
- Multilingual or Arabic deployment experience
- Time at a company scaling from early traction to repeatable enterprise delivery
THE PRACTICAL STUFF
- Based in Gurgaon, WFO
- Our customers sit in North America, EMEA and APAC, so part of your day shifts earlier or later to meet them. That is a flexed schedule, not extra hours stacked on top of a full office day
- Occasional travel for key customer engagements. Frequency depends on the accounts you support
WHY THIS SEAT
You report to the CTO and work close to the leadership team. You will see a deal from first call to first value, which is rare in enterprise software and hard to learn any other way. The playbooks and documentation you build become how the company sells and delivers as we scale in the US and the GCC.
If you like both selling the vision and making it real, this is the seat.
