Hiring for Senior QA Engineer – Salesforce / Fonteva Functional & Integration Testing Specialist
We’re looking for an experienced QA who can validate not only Salesforce/Fonteva functionality, but also the end-to-end business processes and integrations those capabilities support.
This is not a UI-only QA role. We’re looking for someone who can connect system behavior to business outcomes, identify integration and data risks, and build repeatable, evidence-based validation that increases release confidence.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute end-to-end test plans for membership, join, renew, billing, payment, member status, and related workflows.
- Validate Salesforce/Fonteva configuration and business rules against intended operational processes.
- Test end-to-end flows across Salesforce/Fonteva, identity, marketing, web, reporting/data, payment, and middleware platforms.
- Validate Salesforce functionality including Flows, validation rules, permissions, record types, page layouts, reports, and Lightning Experience.
- Test REST and SOAP APIs using Postman or equivalent tools, including payloads, mappings, authentication, errors, retries, idempotency, and reconciliation.
- Support data migration/conversion testing and source-to-target reconciliation.
- Perform post-sandbox-refresh smoke and regression testing, including integration reauthorization and configuration checks.
- Validate complex platform behavior such as async processing, Flow/Apex interactions, order-of-operations issues, and role/permission differences.
- Support sprint reviews, release demos, and functional walkthroughs.
- Create reusable QA assets including integration test matrices, Postman collections, regression checklists, sandbox-refresh runbooks, and high-quality defect reports.
- Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, Salesforce teams, integration teams, SRE, InfoSec, implementation partners, and QA peers.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8+ years of QA experience, ideally with Salesforce implementations or complex integrated business applications.
- Strong experience testing end-to-end, multi-system business workflows.
- Hands-on API testing with Postman or equivalent, including REST and SOAP.
- Experience working with Salesforce environments, sandboxes, refreshes, test data, and release validation.
- Ability to validate field mappings, payloads, status transitions, permissions, exception paths, and downstream data impacts.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce configuration and platform behavior.
- Strong defect triage and documentation skills, including reproducible steps, payloads, record IDs, timestamps, evidence, and expected vs. actual results.
- Strong QA fundamentals across test planning, risk-based testing, regression, defect management, and stakeholder communication.
Nice to Have
- Fonteva or other Salesforce managed-package experience.
- Salesforce Flows, validation rules, profiles/permission sets, record types, reports, and Lightning Experience.
- Salesforce data migration/conversion and reconciliation experience.
- Marketing Cloud integrations or marketing data synchronization.
- Payment integration testing, especially Stripe.
- MuleSoft or similar middleware/integration platforms.
- Salesforce deployment/release processes, CI/CD, packages, or change sets.
- Splunk or similar logging/monitoring tools.
- Light automation for API regression, connectivity, or data validation.
- Experience working with third-party vendors, system integrators, or partner-led implementations.
