Role :
Senior Project Director- Electrical (General Management services for railways)
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all Electrical works (TRD / OHE, General Electrical, PSI, SCADA, etc.) under assigned projects.
- Act as key interface for Electrical discipline in PGMS-AE or Supervision Role.
- Review and ensure correctness of Electrical designs, drawings, cable routes, power supply plans, earthing, protection systems, and installation methodologies.
- Oversee quality control and technical audit of Electrical installations: earthing networks, switchgear, transformers, motors, cables, IR tests, dielectric tests, protection settings, controls & interlocks, lighting, etc.
- Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, energisation, and statutory approvals (EIG, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with Railway standards, safety protocols (especially near running tracks), and environmental requirements.
Qualifications
- Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 15 years’ experience in the construction industry for respective engineering positions and at least 3 years as Project Director or equivalent in Railways Electrification Projects
OR
- Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 15 years’ experience in the construction industry for respective engineering positions with at least 5 years’ experience in Junior Administrative Grade or equivalent Grade or above in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) in Indian Railways / Railway Public Sector Departments
