About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to manage and optimize automated production operations by integrating mechanical systems, industrial automation, electrical controls, instrumentation, and production technology. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting capabilities and hands-on experience with automated manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of automated production lines and process equipment.
- Manage conveyors, shredders, material handling equipment, compressors, ducting, and utility systems.
- Operate and monitor PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, VFD, and control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation-related breakdowns.
- Conduct RCA, CAPA, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Improve OEE, productivity, throughput, and machine utilization.
- Drive line balancing and bottleneck elimination projects.
- Support installation, commissioning, upgrades, and automation enhancement projects.
- Implement cost optimization, energy-saving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and operational standards.
