About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager / Senior Account Managerto join our agency and take ownership of multiple client accounts from strategy to execution and growth.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who understands performance marketing beyond simply launching campaigns and making routine optimizations. You should be highly comfortable working inside Google Ads, analyzing performance data, identifying the real reasons behind account performance, developing strategies, communicating with clients, and taking responsibility for the business outcomes generated through paid marketing.
What You'll Be Doing
You will take end-to-end ownership of Google Ads and paid acquisition accounts, including campaign strategy, account structure, optimization, budget management, testing, scaling, and ongoing performance improvement. You should be capable of working with accounts at a level where you can identify problems that are not immediately visible and understand how different parts of an account interact with each other.
You will work extensively with Excel, Google Sheets, analytics platforms, advertising data, and performance reports. Strong analytical thinking and advanced Excel skills are essential. We want someone who can take large or messy datasets, make sense of them, find meaningful patterns, and turn those findings into clear actions. You should enjoy working with numbers and be able to move comfortably from raw data to a business decision.
You will also be responsible for client management and communication. You will participate in client calls, performance reviews, strategy discussions, and planning sessions. You should be comfortable explaining performance, defending recommendations, managing expectations, and having difficult conversations when required. More importantly, you should be able to communicate marketing performance in terms that a business owner or senior stakeholder understands.
The role requires you to think beyond advertising metrics. You should understand how paid marketing contributes to qualified leads, sales, revenue, customer acquisition, and profitability. A campaign generating more clicks or leads does not automatically mean it is performing better. You should be interested in what happens after the conversion and understand whether the marketing is actually producing valuable business outcomes.
You will also work closely with internal teams such as creative, content, development, SEO, analytics, and other account teams. You should be able to recognize when a performance problem is caused by the campaign itself and when it may actually be related to the landing page, tracking, website, creative, sales process, or broader business strategy.
The Level of Ownership We Expect
We are looking for someone who does not need to be told every next step.
If an account's performance drops, you should be able to investigate it.
If an account is performing well, you should be thinking about how to scale it.
If the client is not getting quality leads, you should investigate where the problem is occurring.
If the data does not make sense, you should question the tracking before drawing conclusions.
If an account has an opportunity that nobody has noticed, you should be the person who finds it.
In short, we want someone who takes ownership of the outcome rather than simply completing assigned tasks.
You should be able to move comfortably between Google Ads, Excel, analytics, strategy, client communication, reporting, and business discussions without needing constant supervision.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with 4–6+ years of strong performance marketing experience, preferably gained in a digital marketing or performance marketing agency environment.
Strong Excel and analytical skills are mandatory. You should be comfortable working with large datasets and using data to investigate problems, identify opportunities, evaluate performance, and make decisions.
Healthcare Experience — Plus
Previous experience in healthcare marketing is a strong advantage.
Experience working with hospitals, clinics, healthcare services, medical businesses, or other healthcare-focused organizations will be particularly valuable. An understanding of healthcare customer journeys, lead quality, patient acquisition, and the nuances of marketing in a sensitive or regulated category will be considered a plus.
Someone who doesn't just ask:
"What should I optimize?"
but asks:
"What is actually preventing this business from growing, and what can performance marketing do about it?"
- If you believe you have the combination of Google Ads expertise, analytical thinking, advanced Excel skills, client management experience, strategic ability, and commercial mindset required for this role, we'd like to hear from you.
