Job Role - Senior Performance Marketer
Express Analytics (EA) • Full-time • Remote, India • Marketing
Express Analytics is a global decision intelligence partner and AI technology company. We build
AI, analytics and B2B SaaS products that solve complex business problems. One of the
products we have developed is an agentic AI adtech platform built for performance marketers.
Its specialist AI agents research audiences, develop campaign strategy, generate creative, build
campaigns and recommend optimizations across advertising platforms — while keeping the
marketer in control.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on performance marketer to help make kAInet a
product that marketers trust and want to use to improve campaign performance.
You will use kAInet the way our customers do: build and run real campaigns, evaluate its
recommendations against your own expertise, identify where the product falls short, and
translate those findings into clear direction for our product and development teams. When
improvements ship, you will test again and determine whether they actually make the marketer's
job better.
This is not a traditional QA role, and it is not a traditional media buying role. It sits at the
intersection of performance marketing, AI and product development. Your value comes from
knowing what a strong campaign should look like and using that judgment to help us gain
adoption with our platform.
The performance marketer will be responsible for managing our paid digital marketing
campaigns for Express Analytics.and leverage kAInet where possible in those campaigns.
The position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), work day to day with the kAInet
product and development team, and coordinate with the Director of Website Strategy on
anything that touches the website or brand. You will follow the marketing team’s project
management and approval processes. This is an individual contributor role.
What you will do-
1. Run kAInet performance testing cycles as primary immediate focus
Become one of the company's deepest internal power users of kAInet and use it for real
world campaign workflows.
Run structured test cycles: define the hypothesis, build the campaign in kAInet, launch
with an agreed test budget, analyze performance, recommend changes and retest after
improvements ship.
Build and maintain a weekly and quarterly testing roadmap aligned with the kAInet
product release schedule.
Benchmark kAInet against your own expertise by comparing its campaign
recommendations and builds with what you would create directly in Google Ads or Meta
Ads Manager.
Evaluate the quality of AI-generated campaign strategies, audiences, keywords, creative
and optimization recommendations. Ask the question that matters: Would you
confidently run this for a client? If not, why?
Diagnose whether performance issues originate from kAInet, campaign inputs, tracking
or the underlying advertising platform so the right team addresses the right problem.
Test new features before customer release and validate fixes afterward to ensure they
solve the marketer's underlying problem rather than only the immediate symptom.
Test additional advertising platform integrations as kAInet expands into new channels.
2. Turn marketer insight into product direction
Translate findings into clear, reproducible bug reports and product recommendations that
developers can act on, including steps taken, expected versus actual behavior and
potential impact on campaign performance or spend.
Prioritize issues based on marketer impact, campaign risk and business value, helping
the product team distinguish critical improvements from lower-priority enhancements.
Review feedback from kAInet customers, identify recurring patterns and incorporate
them into the testing roadmap.
Maintain a clear feedback loop from test to finding to product change to retest to
validation.
Provide a weekly testing summary to the product team and a monthly leadership recap
covering what was tested, what was learned, what changed and what comes next.
Challenge workflows that do not make sense from a performance marketer's perspective
and advocate for how marketers actually work.
3. Execute Express Analytics paid digital marketing campaigns as it expands
Plan, launch and optimize EA demand generation campaigns using kAInet wherever the
platform supports the channel.
Define, track and report campaign KPIs across media efficiency, conversion, lead
volume, MQLs, pipeline and ROI
Look beyond platform level metrics to understand whether campaigns are generating
qualified prospects and meaningful business outcomes.
Use campaign data to identify performance issues, opportunities and recommended
actions
Partner with Marketing, Sales and RevOps to evaluate lead quality, understand funnel
performance and incorporate downstream results into campaign optimization
Maintain clear campaign reporting and communicate insights and recommendations to
internal stakeholders.
Support accurate conversion tracking, attribution and campaign measurement across
advertising platforms and analytics tools
Establish and maintain conversion tracking using GA4 and Google Tag Manager in
coordination with the website and RevOps teams.
What we are looking for
Must have
4+ years of hands on performance marketing experience, with recent responsibility for
personally building and optimizing campaigns — not just overseeing agencies or
teams
Demonstrated hands-on responsibility for at least US$50,000 (approximately ₹50 lakh)
in monthly paid media spend for a single advertiser, with direct responsibility for
campaign strategy, build, optimization and performance across Google and/or Meta.
Strong experience with campaign and creative testing across audiences, messaging,
offers, formats and bidding strategies.
Deep hands-on expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, with significant
experience across major Google campaign types including Search, Performance Max,
Demand Gen, Display and/or YouTube.
Experience personally managing meaningful paid media budgets and being accountable
for performance.
A strong record of structured experimentation: developing hypotheses, designing tests,
interpreting results and turning findings into decisions.
Strong command of GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking and attribution.
The ability to evaluate AI-generated recommendations critically rather than simply
accepting the output.
Strong written communication skills. You can describe a technical or workflow problem
precisely enough for a developer to act on and explain its business impact clearly to
leadership.
Comfort working with an evolving early-stage product where features, priorities and
workflows will change as the product develops.
Nice to have
Experience managing high-volume B2C, DTC or ecommerce performance campaigns.
B2B or SaaS performance marketing experience is a plus
Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
Experience with Reddit Ads, Pinterest Ads, Amazon Ads or other advertising platforms.
Agency experience working across multiple clients, industries or geographies.
Experience evaluating, beta-testing or helping roll out martech or adtech products.
Experience incorporating AI tools into performance marketing workflows.
You will probably enjoy this role if:-
You like being hands-on, are naturally skeptical of automated recommendations, enjoy figuring
out why something worked or failed, and want your performance marketing expertise to
influence how an AI advertising product is built.
This may not be the right role if you primarily want to manage a large media budget from day
one, prefer mature and stable platforms, or have moved away from hands-on campaign building
into primarily managing agencies or teams.
What we offer
Real ownership and access. Your findings shape what kAInet becomes and how we take it to
market, with direct visibility to leadership.
Growth in AI. Build your career in agentic AI, B2B SaaS and data analytics.
Competitive compensation aligned with your experience, performance and impact.
