Job details:
Role Overview :
As the Senior Operations Manager, you take end-to-end ownership of the patient journey across time zones, hospitals, and clinical handoffs. Where a trainee learns the process, you're expected to already run it, independently managing complex, multi-stakeholder cases, making judgment calls under ambiguity, and stepping in as the escalation point when things get hard. This is a role for someone who can bring structure to ambiguity and operate with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end patient journey, driving treatment planning, patient handoffs, and critical case escalations with international hospital partners.
- Drive strategic coordination with hospital partners, including treatment planning alignment, second-opinion coordination, and resolution of high-stakes cases.
- Govern the quality and accuracy of critical patient documentation, including treatment plans and financial estimates, ensuring compliance with global standards.
- Lead post-treatment care strategy, including recovery tracking, outcome analysis, and initiatives to improve patient experience.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex cases, working directly with hospital leadership to resolve high-impact issues.
- Design, implement, and enforce SOPs and quality benchmarks that raise the bar across patient operations.
- Own audit-readiness of patient records, ensuring alignment with international healthcare standards.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to building team capability.
Who We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in operations management, project coordination, or post-sales / client operations, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Proven track record of independently owning and running complex workflows end-to-end, across teams and geographies.
- Exceptional communication skills: articulate, persuasive, and comfortable interfacing with senior stakeholders, including hospital leadership.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills; able to interpret complex information and communicate it clearly to non-specialist stakeholders.
Good to Have
- Experience in hospitality, travel, healthcare operations, or another high-touch service industry.
- Exposure to handling multiple concurrent cases or accounts with competing priorities.
- Interest in healthcare operations, medical tourism, or patient experience management.
