Job details:
TinyFish builds the infrastructure that lets AI agents work on the live web at production scale. Our platform covers Search, Fetch, Agent, Browser, and Mako, our web-native model, behind one API key and one wallet. Developers use us because the web is messy and we make it dependable: dynamic pages, authenticated flows, structured outputs, sub-second browser cold starts. We are trusted where web complexity is real, and we would rather ship proof than pitch promises.
We are building our first product marketing presence in India: a senior operator who can turn deeply technical capability into positioning that developers and enterprise buyers actually believe.
You will lead product marketing for the TinyFish platform across both of our motions: product-led growth (developers signing up, self-serving, and expanding through the product) and sales-led enterprise (buying committees evaluating us for production workloads). You own the messaging for each and keep the two coherent, so the story a developer reads in our docs is the same story their VP hears in a sales deck. This is a hands-on senior role: you set the narrative and you also write the battlecard yourself. You will be our marketing anchor in India, partnering closely with the US-based marketing and GTM teams, with meaningful ownership of how
TinyFish shows up in the India and APAC developer ecosystem.
Why this role
- You will be early, senior, and close to the product. The category (web infrastructure for AI agents) is being defined right now, and the positioning you write will be the positioning the market reads. Small team, direct access to founders and engineering, and a product developers already love.
- Compensation Fixed compensation: INR 50 to 75 lakhs per annum, depending on experience and interview performance. Equity: meaningful early-stage stock options, refreshed with performance. Performance bonus: up to 15% of fixed, tied to launch and pipeline outcomes. Benefits: comprehensive health insurance for you and dependents, home office and learning stipends, flexible leave, and annual travel to work with the US team in person.
How we work
- We value shipped work over polished process, evidence over claims, and dry humor over hype. We move fast and expect ownership. If you send us a teardown of our homepage messaging with your application, we will read it first.
TinyFish is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate candidates on capability and evidence of impact, regardless of background.
We are hiring in India (Remote, Bengaluru preferred).
Key Responsibilities
- Positioning and messaging. Own the messaging architecture for our product lines across both PLG and enterprise (SLG) motions. Translate agent benchmarks, browser infrastructure, and model capabilities into language that resonates with developers, engineering leaders, and enterprise buying committees, without hype.
- PLG messaging and conversion. Own the messaging that drives self-serve signup, activation, and expansion: website and pricing page copy, in-product and lifecycle messaging, and the narratives that turn free-tier developers into paying teams.
- Enterprise (SLG) messaging. Build the enterprise story: ROI, reliability, security, and scale narratives for buying committees, and the content that helps sales convert developer adoption into company-wide deals.
- Product launches. Run end-to-end launches: naming, positioning, launch content, docs alignment, developer communications, and post-launch iteration based on adoption data.
- Sales and GTM enablement. Build the assets sales actually uses: pitch narratives, competitive battlecards, objection handling, ROI evidence, technical briefs.
- Competitive intelligence. Own the competitive landscape across web agent infrastructure, browser automation, and search/fetch APIs. Monitor the market, synthesize what matters, and keep field teams sharp.
- Developer-credible content. Partner with engineering and DevRel on benchmark reports, technical blogs, integration guides, and case studies that hold up to scrutiny from a technical audience.
- Customer and market insight. Run win/loss analysis and customer interviews. Feed what you learn back into product and roadmap conversations.
- India and APAC presence. Shape how TinyFish engages the India developer community: events, communities, partnerships, and regional campaigns.
Ideal Experience
- 8+ years in B2B product marketing or technical marketing, with at least 5 years marketing to technical audiences (developers, platform teams, engineering leaders).
- 2+ years working on AI-native, API-first, or developer infrastructure products. You can explain what an agent, an eval, and a headless browser are without notes.
- A portfolio of positioning and launch work you personally drove, with outcomes you can speak to.
- Proven sales enablement track record for technical B2B buyers: battlecards and plays that field teams adopted, not shelfware.
- Experience running both PLG and sales-led motions, including converting bottoms-up developer adoption into enterprise deals.
- Strong writing. Clear, concrete, restrained. You cut adjectives and keep evidence.
- Data-driven habits: you track launch and campaign performance and change course based on what the numbers say.
- Comfort operating with high autonomy across time zones, with regular overlap with US Pacific hours.
Nice to have
- Hands-on coding ability or a technical degree; you have called an API yourself.
- Experience marketing agentic AI, browser automation, scraping/data infrastructure, or LLM platforms.
- Active presence in the India developer or startup ecosystem.
