About the Company
Samaaro is an AI-powered event marketing platform that enables marketing teams to turn events into a measurable growth channel by planning, promoting, executing, and measuring their business impact. We are building for marketing teams as they scale their event GTM, and we solve two hard problems for them: getting the right people in the room, and proving the ROI of events.
Recognized by YourStory as one of the Top 30 Most Innovative Startups in India, Samaaro works with phenomenal brands including PepsiCo, FIFA, Dr. Reddy's, The Times of India, TVS Motor, and Sodexo across geographies and industries.
About the Role
Own Samaaro's paid growth engine, from first impression to closed revenue. You will run paid acquisition, the marketing funnel, the MarTech stack and our agencies, and turn marketing spend into qualified pipeline. Marketing and Sales work as one revenue team toward a shared pipeline number, and you are measured on pipeline and CAC, not lead volume.
What You Will Own
Performance Marketing (about 65% of the role)
- Paid channels: Run Google, LinkedIn, Meta and new paid channels end to end across India and the US, including campaign structure, audience targeting, budgets, creatives, offers and landing pages.
- Pipeline target: Own the monthly and quarterly pipeline target from marketing. Build the plan to reach it, spot gaps early and adjust spend, channels or conversion to close them.
- Budget and efficiency: Own the ad and marketing tool budget. Track each channel from spend to MQLs, SQLs, pipeline and revenue, know the CAC and pipeline generated per rupee, and move budget to what produces pipeline.
- Experimentation and conversion: Keep testing audiences, offers, messaging, creatives and landing pages. Find where the funnel leaks, run experiments and scale what works.
- Lead nurturing and retargeting: Build nurture journeys for accounts that engage, nurture leads that stall in the pipeline and retarget leads that drop out, so they are warm when Sales picks them up.
- ABM and outbound support: Run awareness campaigns on LinkedIn and Meta to warm up target accounts before Sales reaches out.
- Competitive intelligence: Track competitor ads, keywords, offers and positioning, and turn the gaps you find into campaign tests.
Marketing Management (about 35% of the role)
- MarTech stack: Run HubSpot and its connected tools for enrichment, intent, outbound and calling. Keep integrations healthy and cut tools that do not pay off.
- Reporting: Share a weekly update on what changed, why and what comes next, and a monthly view of spend, pipeline and revenue by channel. Build dashboards that leadership can read without help.
- Lead management: Own the lead lifecycle, routing, account scoring by fit, intent and engagement, and CRM hygiene. Agree lead stages, handoff rules and response times with Sales.
- Agencies and vendors: Brief and manage partners for the website, SEO, backlinks, campaigns and outbound, and hold them to results. You own their outcomes.
- Cross-team collaboration: Work hands-on with content and design to get campaign assets built and shipped. Give sales the data, assets and systems they need. Work with product and leadership when needed.
You Have
- B2B experience: 6 to 9 years in B2B marketing, including at least 4 years running Google and LinkedIn Ads hands-on.
- Long sales cycles: Experience at a B2B tech company where buying cycles run over several months.
- Commercial ownership: You can work back from a pipeline target to the spend, traffic, conversion rates, MQLs, SQLs and opportunities needed to reach it, and you know how to find and fix a leaking funnel.
- Cross-team leadership: You have managed agencies to deadlines and led work across teams without formal authority.
- Marketing stack: Hands-on experience with CRM, intent and ABM tools, email marketing, websites and hosting.
- AI-first: You use AI tools every day to research, analyse, create, automate repetitive work and connect the marketing stack, and you keep trying new AI workflows.
- Accountability: You own your numbers, deliver on commitments and flag slips early with a fix in hand.
Strong Plus
- Experience running US or global B2B paid campaigns.
- Experience with ABM, intent data or account-scoring tools.
- Early testing of new paid channels.
Not a fit if
- Your paid experience is mostly in D2C or e-commerce.
- You prefer to plan and have agencies or a large team execute. This role is hands-on.
- You measure success in leads, not pipeline.
What we offer
- Competitive fixed pay and ESOPs.
- Direct work with the founders, with real ownership of budget and results.
