About Growpreneur
Growpreneur is an e-commerce and Quick Commerce growth consulting company helping brands build and scale their businesses across marketplaces including Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart.
We work closely with brands across marketplace strategy, advertising, analytics, catalogue and content, growth planning, Quick Commerce and overall business performance.
As we scale, we’re looking for experienced marketplace professionals who can independently own businesses, solve complex problems, manage clients and help develop the next generation of marketplace talent within Growpreneur.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Manager – E-commerce Growth with deep Amazon marketplace expertise and the ability to think beyond advertising.
This is not an Amazon PPC-only role.
You should be able to take a complex Amazon account, independently understand what’s happening, diagnose the biggest growth constraints, prioritize opportunities, recommend actions, execute and communicate the strategy confidently to the client.
Amazon will be the core capability for this position.
However, experience across Flipkart and/or Myntra is highly valuable because we increasingly want our senior marketplace team to think across the broader e-commerce ecosystem rather than operate within one platform.
Experience with Amazon UAE, US or UK would be an additional advantage as we expand internationally.
What You’ll Own
1. E-commerce Growth Strategy
- Own growth strategy for assigned marketplace accounts.
- Understand the client’s business objectives, category dynamics and competitive landscape.
- Identify the biggest constraints and opportunities affecting growth.
- Translate data into clear priorities and action plans.
- Think beyond advertising to understand the entire marketplace business.
2. Amazon Advertising
You should have strong practical expertise across areas such as:
- Sponsored Products
- Sponsored Brands
- Sponsored Display
- Campaign structure
- Keyword and product targeting
- Search-term analysis
- Bid and budget optimization
- Placement strategy
- Branded vs non-branded strategy
- New-product launches
- Scaling campaigns profitably
- Advertising efficiency and incrementality
You should understand why performance is changing rather than simply optimizing campaigns based on predefined rules.
3. Marketplace Analytics
You should be comfortable working with and interpreting:
- Business Reports
- Brand Analytics
- Search Query Performance
- Traffic and conversion trends
- Keyword performance
- Category and competitive data
- Advertising reports
- Organic rankings
- Sales and inventory trends
The expectation is not merely to report numbers, but to convert data into business decisions.
4. Marketplace Operations & Account Health
You should understand how areas such as the following affect marketplace growth:
- Catalogue
- Inventory
- Pricing
- Promotions
- Account health
- Buy Box
- Suppressions
- Seller operations
- Forecasting
- Availability
You may not personally execute every operational task, but you should be capable of identifying when these areas are limiting growth.
5. Conversion & Content
- Diagnose conversion-rate issues.
- Evaluate listings, titles, images, A+ Content and storefronts.
- Identify opportunities to improve discoverability and conversion.
- Work with content/design teams to improve marketplace assets.
- Understand how reviews, ratings, pricing and competitive positioning affect conversion.
6. Flipkart & Myntra
Experience across Flipkart and/or Myntra is a strong advantage. Depending on your experience and client requirements, you may work across:
- Marketplace advertising
- Catalogue and content
- Pricing/promotions
- Analytics
- Growth strategy
- Platform-specific operations
We don’t expect every candidate to be equally deep across all three marketplaces, but we value professionals who can think beyond Amazon.
7. Client Management
- Independently lead regular client meetings and business reviews.
- Explain performance clearly and confidently.
- Present recommendations backed by data and business reasoning.
- Handle client questions and disagreements professionally.
- Build credibility with founders, marketplace teams and senior stakeholders.
- Escalate appropriately without depending on senior leadership for routine client management.
8. Problem Solving & Ownership
We expect Senior Managers to operate with significant independence. That means:
- Identifying problems before someone points them out.
- Investigating root causes rather than treating symptoms.
- Bringing recommendations, not just problems.
- Following through until actions are completed.
- Taking responsibility for outcomes rather than only assigned tasks.
9. Team Development
Depending on experience, you may:
- Mentor marketplace executives or managers.
- Review account strategies and execution.
- Help team members improve their technical capabilities.
- Train junior team members.
- Contribute to internal marketplace playbooks and best practices.
We want this position to develop into a meaningful leadership role as Growpreneur grows.
10. Global Amazon
Experience across any of the following would be valuable:
- Amazon UAE
- Amazon US
- Amazon UK
- Other international Amazon marketplaces
As Growpreneur expands internationally, strong performers may have the opportunity to help build and lead these capabilities.
11. AI & Systems
We encourage practical use of AI and automation for:
- Data analysis
- Research
- Reporting
- Keyword/category analysis
- Competitive intelligence
- Process automation
- Internal productivity
However, AI capability cannot substitute for strong marketplace fundamentals and business judgment.
Who We’re Looking For
- Approximately 4-7 years of marketplace/e-commerce experience.
- Deep hands-on Amazon experience.
- Strong understanding of Amazon Ads.
- Strong Seller Central experience.
- Experience using Business Reports and Brand Analytics.
- Ability to diagnose marketplace performance beyond advertising.
- Experience managing meaningful sales volumes and advertising budgets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience independently communicating with clients or business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
- Strong ownership and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:
- Flipkart
- Myntra
- Amazon Vendor Central
- Amazon UAE
- Amazon US
- Amazon UK
- Team management or mentoring
- Agency/consulting environments
- AI/automation applied to marketplace work
This Role Is Probably Not for You If
- Your Amazon experience is primarily limited to running PPC campaigns.
- You depend on someone else to diagnose what is happening in an account.
- You are comfortable reporting metrics but struggle to recommend what should happen next.
- You require frequent follow-ups to complete agreed actions.
- You prefer executing clearly defined tasks rather than owning business outcomes.
- You are uncomfortable independently communicating with clients.
What Success Looks Like
- You can independently own complex marketplace accounts.
- Clients trust your analysis and recommendations.
- You identify problems before they become major issues.
- You understand both advertising and the broader marketplace business.
- Your accounts show stronger strategic clarity and execution.
- Junior team members become stronger through your guidance.
- You progressively take responsibility for larger businesses, clients and team members.
- You contribute to building Growpreneur’s broader e-commerce and international marketplace capabilities.
Why Join Growpreneur?
At Growpreneur, we don’t want senior people to simply execute instructions.
We want them to think, challenge, recommend, decide and take ownership.
You’ll get exposure to businesses across categories, marketplace problems and growth stages rather than working on a single brand or narrow function.
We operate remote-first and believe in giving people autonomy while holding them accountable for outcomes.
For someone who wants to deepen their marketplace expertise while progressively taking on larger clients, teams and leadership responsibilities, this role offers significant room to grow.
