Role Description
The Senior Logistics Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Abroad, responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations to support the company’s consulting and service delivery functions. This role involves planning and managing supply chain activities, supervising inventory handling and movement, coordinating procurement-related logistics, and optimizing the flow of materials and resources between offices and external partners. The Senior Logistics Manager will analyze logistics performance, implement cost-effective and timely solutions, and maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing vendor relationships, improving warehouse and distribution processes, and ensuring that logistical support enhances overall client service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management, with proven experience leading end-to-end operations.
- Hands-on experience in Inventory Management, including stock control, warehousing, and distribution planning.
- Proficiency in Procurement processes, vendor coordination, and contract management.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills to ensure logistics operations support timely and high-quality client delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field; advanced certification in logistics or supply chain is an advantage.
- Experience in managing logistics for service-oriented or consulting organizations is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with competency in using logistics or ERP software.
- Ability to lead teams, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and work effectively in a fast-paced on-site environment in Chennai.
