Role Description This is a full-time work from office role for a Senior Java Software Engineer. The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications and microservices that support WebBee’s eCommerce and integration platforms. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing solutions using the Spring Framework, reviewing code for quality and scalability, and troubleshooting production issues. The Senior Java Software Engineer will collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to refine requirements, plan technical solutions, and deliver features on schedule. The role also involves optimizing system performance, contributing to technical documentation, mentoring less experienced engineers, and following secure development and best coding practices.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with a focus on building scalable backend systems.
- Hands-on experience with 5-8 Years of Experience in Java and the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC) for enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing Microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including query optimization and data modeling.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in eCommerce, integrations, or SaaS platforms is an advantage.
