- 7+ years of proven experience as a .NET Developer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful web services and APIs from scratch using ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software architecture, database design, and API integrations based on business and technical requirements.
- Assist in legacy platform transitions through the analysis of current solutions, the creation of development requirements, and the creation of detailed design and migration documentation.
- Connect applications with third-party services, external databases, and internal systems via reliable API integrations.
- Assist in deployment, release coordination, and post-go-live support to AWS and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders across the organisation.
- Drive quality through testing, documentation, and adherence to development standards.
Qualifications
- Experienced, quality-focused developer with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET 5, 6, 7, or 8, and extensive hands-on experience with ASP.NET Web API.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and design patterns such as dependency injection and Singleton.
- Proficiency with API testing and debugging tools.
- Solid experience with relational databases, e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git using GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
