The role
Hands-on senior engineer for IoT architecture, electronics prototyping, firmware/edge bring-up, and cross-platform device integration. Office/lab-based. Early member of the engineering function with path to technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design device-to-edge integration architectures
- Build, test, and refine hardware/electronics prototypes
- Integrate devices from multiple manufacturers into unified systems
- Work with APIs, messaging, serial, and wireless IoT protocols
- Evaluate components, vendors, and platforms
- Troubleshoot communication, firmware, and hardware issues
- Document architectures, interfaces, and integration procedures
- Translate requirements into practical technical solutions (minimal field work)
Requirements
- B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE, EEE, EIE, or equivalent
- 5–8 years in IoT, embedded, automation, or device integration
- Hyderabad-based, 5 days/week on-site
- Multi-vendor integration experience
- Protocols: MQTT, REST, Modbus/RS-485, Zigbee, Wi-Fi/BLE; exposure to Z-Wave/Thread, KNX, Matter
- Hands-on with ESP32 / Arduino / Raspberry Pi
- Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills
Nice to have
- C/C++, Python, Node.js, edge gateways, building/energy-adomation exposure, security/OTA awareness
