Founded in 2017, we're 80+ engineers strong, Series A funded, and co-developing India’s first & critical systems with DRDO for India and for globe.
About the role
The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for managing and supporting core HR functions including employee relations, performance management, recruitment coordination, policy implementation, HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement in Constelli’s Bengaluru office with 40+ people and no dedicated HR presence today. You will be the single point of contact for all HR needs on-site, responsible for bringing Bengaluru in line with company-wide culture, policies, and people practices.
Responsibilities
- Identify and close cultural gaps between Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices — drive uniform policies, rituals, and communication practices.
- Own the local employee experience end-to-end: engagement, grievances, recognition, and day-to-day people support.
- Act as the visible, approachable HR presence on-site — physically available across both floors
- Oversee facility management & admin activities.
- Support talent acquisition through interview coordination, onboarding, and hiring process management.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, welfare activities, and workplace culture programs.
- Handle employee relations matters and support conflict resolution.
- Assist in performance management processes including appraisals, feedback tracking, and development planning.
- Maintain employee records, HRMIS data, and HR documentation including payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and statutory compliance activities
- Support audits, compliance documentation, and labor law adherence.
- Generate HR reports, analytics, and management dashboards.
- Support training and learning initiatives across departments.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to operate independently as a solo HR practitioner with remote support from HQ
- Comfortable being the face of HR — high visibility, high approachability.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Good knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS platforms.
- Prior experience of sole or primary HR person at a site/branch is strongly preferred.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 5–8 years of experience in HR Generalist roles.
