Senior Finance Manager – Finance & Accounts

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounts professional with 7+ years of experience and a qualified CA qualification to manage and oversee finance and accounting activities.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, compliance, financial controls, reconciliations, and business finance. Candidates from D2C, consumer, retail, e-commerce, or similar businesses will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities.
- Drive financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Review accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Support business teams with financial insights and decision-making.
- Ensure timely statutory, regulatory, and financial compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Review financial data, identify variances and risks, and recommend improvements.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing.
- Contribute to process improvements and strengthen finance operations.
- Coordinate with the Finance & Accounts team based in Raipur as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounts, Financial Management, or related areas.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.
- Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, MIS, compliance, and financial controls.
- Experience in D2C, consumer, retail, e-commerce, FMCG, or similar business environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on, mature, and responsible approach to managing finance activities.
Travel Requirement
The role is based in Mumbai and may require occasional travel to Raipur.
Travel may be required for approximately 7–10 days at a time, depending on business requirements. This is not a monthly travel requirement. Since most of the Finance & Accounts team is based in Raipur, travel will primarily be required for team coordination and business needs.
