Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Engineer. The Senior Engineer will lead the planning, design, and coordination of infrastructure construction projects, ensuring that technical standards, safety regulations, and project specifications are met. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting drawings and designs, preparing and monitoring project plans and schedules, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers and project staff. The Senior Engineer will support budgeting and resource planning, oversee quality control measures, and manage risk mitigation activities. The role also involves preparing reports and documentation, recommending engineering solutions to project challenges, and contributing to continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in civil and structural engineering design, construction methodologies, and infrastructure project execution.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design applications), along with solid technical drawing interpretation skills.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, including resource management and cost control.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to highways, bridges, airports, and building projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities for complex engineering challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders remotely.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring junior engineers and managing site or project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; professional certification or licensure is an advantage.
- Prior experience in large infrastructure or construction projects; experience with Indian infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
