Role Description The Senior Counsellor | Overseas Education | EUROPE will guide prospective students through the process of selecting suitable European universities and programs, assessing their academic background, career goals, and budget. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, involving regular student meetings, information sessions, and follow-ups to ensure timely completion of applications and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling students and families, explaining admission requirements and timelines, assisting with application preparation, coordinating with partner institutions, and providing updates on scholarship and funding options. The Senior Counsellor will also support visa documentation processes, collaborate with the IELTS and test preparation teams, maintain accurate records in CRM or counseling systems, and contribute to outreach activities such as seminars, webinars, and school or college visits.
Qualifications
- Strong counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand student aspirations and provide clear, ethical guidance on European study options.
- Knowledge of European higher education systems, admission processes, visa requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present information clearly and build trust with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple student cases, track application timelines, and maintain accurate records.
- Comfort with digital tools and CRM platforms for managing student data, follow-ups, and reporting.
- Prior experience in overseas education counseling or student advisory services, preferably focused on Europe.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or international relations is an advantage.
- Commitment to non-discriminatory, student-centric practices and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
