Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Student Counsellor role based in Hyderabad. The Student Counsellor will guide prospective students interested in studying in the UK, Australia, and Europe through program selection, application processes, and documentation requirements. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing academic and career interests, explaining admission and visa procedures, and providing information on scholarships and funding options. The role involves maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with universities and internal teams, and offering ongoing support to students and their families throughout the application journey. The Student Counsellor will also participate in events, presentations, and outreach activities to promote overseas education opportunities and build strong relationships with students and partners.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Education-related guidance skills to support individuals in selecting suitable overseas study programs.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help students align their academic choices with long-term career goals.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Relevant experience in international education, study abroad advisory, or academic counseling is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and online communication platforms for student engagement and record-keeping.
