Senior AI Content Creator (Video Editor + Scriptwriter)
📍 About the Role
- We're looking for someone who doesn't just edit videos—they understand what makes Instagram Reels explode.
- This role owns our Instagram content engine from end to end. You'll research the latest AI trends, write scripts, edit high-performing talking-head videos with world-class animations, and continuously improve our content based on performance.
- If you obsess over retention curves, hooks, storytelling, motion graphics, and Instagram growth, you'll fit right in.
- This isn't a traditional editing role. You'll directly influence our Instagram growth and become one of the biggest reasons people discover our brand.
What You'll Actually Do
- Own our Instagram Reels content pipeline end-to-end.
- Research the latest AI news, product launches, tools, and trends.
- Write scripts for an entire week's worth of Instagram content.
- Transform talking-head footage into highly engaging, retention-focused Reels.
- Add premium motion graphics, animations, captions, transitions, and visual storytelling.
- Create compelling hooks that maximize watch time.
- Improve pacing, storytelling, and editing to increase retention.
- Work closely with the founder to brainstorm viral content ideas.
- Analyze content performance and continuously improve future videos.
- Build repeatable content systems that help us scale output without sacrificing quality.
What We're Looking For, Must Have
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience (startup, creator, or agency preferred).
- Strong portfolio of Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts.
- Excellent scriptwriting skills for short-form content.
- Deep understanding of Instagram's algorithm and growth strategies.
- Strong storytelling instincts with a focus on audience retention.
- Advanced editing skills using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
- Strong motion graphics and animation skills using After Effects or equivalent.
- Experience creating engaging talking-head videos.
- Ability to independently research topics and convert them into compelling content.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Instagram growth and viral content.
- Excellent scriptwriting and short-form storytelling skills.
- Expert in video editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
- Ability to create high-quality motion graphics, animations, captions, and engaging visuals.
- Up-to-date with the latest AI news, tools, and product launches (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Perplexity, etc.).
- Ability to turn complex AI topics into simple, engaging Reels.
