As a Senior Associate within Microsoft Advisory practice, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality technical solutions using the
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) platform to help our clients modernize their enterprise architecture.The ideal candidate must possess strong,
hands-on X++ development expertise, a deep understanding of data integration frameworks, and the ability to bridge technical requirements with fundamental business processes.Key Responsibilities💻 1. Core Development & Technical Architecture
- X++ Customizations: Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable code using X++ in accordance with Microsoft best practices.
- Metadata Extensions: Implement changes seamlessly using extensions across forms, tables, classes, queries, and data entities, maintaining a zero-code-modification footprint wherever possible.
- Workflow Automation: Configure, extend, and troubleshoot complex D365 standard and custom workflow frameworks to meet business process needs.
- Reporting & Analytics: Build and optimize operational and analytical reporting solutions utilizing SSRS reports, Electronic Reporting (ER), and Power BI.
🔗 2. Integrations & Data Management
- API & Integration Design: Build and support robust data pipelines using OData, Custom Services, and REST APIs for real-time applications.
- Data Migration: Utilize the D365 Data Management Framework (DIXF) for data imports, exports, and bulk integration scenarios.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage environments, package deployments, and system configurations via Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps.
🤝 3. Functional Collaboration & Delivery Excellence
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical blueprints, demonstrating a functional awareness of core modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Inventory).
- Quality Assurance: Lead code reviews, perform debugging, execute technical unit testing, and resolve critical deployment defects.
- Documentation: Author high-quality Technical Design Documents (TDD), environment management logs, and release notes.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 4 to 7 years of dedicated technical development experience within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (and/or AX 2012).
- Core Technical Skills: Proficient in X++ development, MorphX, SysWorkflow framework, and Visual Studio development environments.
- Integration Expertise: Strong exposure to Azure services, OData endpoints, Logic Apps, API management, and the Data Management Framework.
- Reporting Kit: Proven track record of developing complex SSRS reports and configuring Electronic Reporting for localized compliance formatting.
- DevOps Lifecycle: Hands-on experience managing build pipelines, code branches, and deployments via Azure DevOps and LCS.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer (MB-500) is highly desirable.
