Role Description The Senior Architect will lead the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements, regulatory standards, and studio design principles. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and reviewing architectural drawings, coordinating with consultants, overseeing technical details, and guiding junior team members. The role involves close collaboration with clients, preparation of presentations, participation in site visits, and monitoring construction progress to resolve design and coordination issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India, requiring regular presence in the studio and on project sites.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and detailing.
- Experience with Integration of building systems, multidisciplinary coordination, and ensuring design coherence.
- Proven Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Familiarity with Software Development principles or digital workflows that support design automation, BIM, or advanced visualization is an advantage.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation software.
- Recognized architectural degree and relevant professional experience in leading projects, preferably including built works.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Ability to mentor junior team members, work collaboratively in a studio environment, and communicate clearly with clients and partners.
