Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design and execution of interior and architectural projects for residential and commercial clients in Chandigarh. This full-time, on-site role involves preparing design concepts, assisting in developing architectural drawings and 3D visualizations, and coordinating with senior team members to refine design details. The Junior Architect will contribute to project documentation, help manage timelines and deliverables, and collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure alignment with design intent. Daily responsibilities also include participating in client meetings, revising plans based on feedback, and maintaining accurate records of design changes and project progress.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to support concept development and detailed planning.
- Experience or familiarity with Software Development and Integration as they relate to design tools, visualization software, and workflow optimization.
- Basic understanding of Project Management principles, including planning, organizing tasks, and tracking milestones.
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) and standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and produce technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to project needs, and work on-site in Chandigarh as part of a dynamic design environment.
