Role Description The Senior Architect will lead end-to-end design and execution of architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, regulatory standards, and GAE’s sustainability principles. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with structural and MEP teams, and overseeing integration of design elements across disciplines. The role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, conducting site visits, reviewing construction progress, and resolving design and technical issues. The Senior Architect will mentor junior team members, participate in client presentations, and collaborate closely with consultants and contractors to ensure design quality and project success. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience delivering projects across multiple sectors.
- Proficiency in relevant design and documentation tools, and familiarity with Integration of architectural, structural, and interior design requirements.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
- Ability to collaborate with Software Development or technology teams for BIM workflows, digital design coordination, or project information systems, where applicable.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is preferred.
- Experience of 10+ years in architectural practice, including leadership on mid- to large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes, sustainability standards, and construction practices in India, especially in Bengaluru.
- Excellent design communication skills, including technical detailing, report writing, and client-facing presentations.
- Ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
