Company Description :
The Design Collaborative (TDC) is an interior design studio crafting refined, contemporary spaces with a focus on thoughtful planning, material sensitivity, and timeless aesthetics. We specialise in bespoke residential interiors and premium commercial spaces and collaborate closely with clients and execution teams to bring design-led spaces to life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead design conceptualisation, mood boards, and presentation development
- Create space plans, detailed drawings, and technical documentation
- Develop and review 3D visualisations to communicate design intent
- Coordinate directly with clients, present design ideas, and incorporate feedback
- Manage material selection, finishes, and sourcing aligned with the design vision
- Guide and mentor junior designers; review and refine their work
- Conduct site visits to ensure design integrity and resolve issues on ground
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and contractors for smooth execution
- Maintain high documentation standards across all project stages
Qualifications :
- Bachelors in Architecture, Interior design or related field
- 3+ years of experience in residential/commercial interior design
- Strong expertise in space planning, design development, and conceptualisation
- Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit is an added advantage.
- Ability to produce accurate drawings and detailed technical documentation
- Experience in on-site coordination and supervision
- Strong material and finishes knowledge
- Confident communication and client-handling skills
- Ability to mentor junior designers, leadership skills
