Role Description The Senior Accounting Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. This role involves overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements, managing accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accounting Manager will supervise journal entries, monitor fixed asset accounting, manage month-end and year-end closing activities, and support audits by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The role includes analyzing financial data to provide insights for management decision-making, improving internal controls, and optimizing accounting processes. The Senior Accounting Manager will also mentor junior team members, assign tasks, review work for accuracy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on finance-related projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Statements and Finance, including preparation, review, and interpretation.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Journal Entries (Accounting), general ledger management, and reconciliations.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Fixed Assets accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset tracking.
- Relevant professional qualification equivalent to, or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, including prior team leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work accurately under deadlines.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Noida.
