Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajkot. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining general ledgers, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial statements and reports. Responsibilities include monitoring budgets, performing reconciliations, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting audits. The role also involves analyzing financial data to provide insights, assisting with process improvements, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain accurate and timely financial records.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance, including familiarity with local tax laws, statutory requirements, and audit processes.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, financial models, and ERP or accounting systems.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data for decision-making.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead accounting role, ideally within a corporate or consulting environment, is highly beneficial.
