Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Rajkot. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial accounting, including recording transactions, preparing ledgers, maintaining books of accounts, and reconciling bank and vendor statements. The role includes preparing invoices, monitoring receivables and payables, assisting with budgeting, cost tracking, and inventory-related accounting for manufacturing operations. The Accountant will support monthly and annual closing, assist with statutory compliance, taxation documentation, and audit preparation. The position involves working closely with finance, operations, and management teams to provide accurate financial reports and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entry posting, and account reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis, particularly in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and basic data analysis.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of local taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance relevant to Indian corporate and manufacturing operations.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
- Relevant educational qualification such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/ICWA/CS intermediate) are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial projects, is highly beneficial.
