SDR - Partnerships - CallHippo
Location: Ahmedabad (Work from office)
Department: Partnerships
Reports To: Partnerships Manager
About The Role
CallHippo is looking for a driven
SDR - Partnerships to fuel our reseller/partner growth engine. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and booking qualified meetings with potential partners - agencies, consultants, IT resellers, telecom providers, and other businesses — who can grow their own revenue and customer base by reselling CallHippo. Your pipeline of meetings will directly feed the Partnerships Manager, who will qualify and convert these prospects into active CallHippo partners.
This is a pure outbound, meeting-generation role at the top of the partnerships funnel — success is measured by the quality (Conversion) and quantity of qualified meetings you deliver.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Generation
- Identify and build target lists of potential partners — resellers, agencies, CRM Companies, IT consultants, telecom/VoIP providers, SaaS consultants, and other businesses with relevant customer bases.
- Run multi-channel outbound campaigns (cold calling, email sequences, LinkedIn/social outreach) to generate interest in the CallHippo partner/reseller program.
- Clearly articulate the value of the CallHippo reseller model — how partners can grow revenue and deepen their customer relationships by offering CallHippo's product.
Meeting Booking & Qualification
- Consistently generate and book a target number of qualified partnership meetings per week/month for the Partnerships Manager.
- Conduct first-level qualification of prospective partners (business type, customer base, market fit, reseller intent) before booking meetings.
- Maintain a healthy, predictable pipeline of meetings to ensure the Partnerships Manager's calendar stays full with relevant prospects.
CRM & Process Discipline
- Log all outreach activity, prospect details, and meeting outcomes accurately in the CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce or similar).
- Track and report on key SDR metrics: outreach volume, response rates, meetings booked, meeting-to-qualified-partner conversion.
- Continuously refine outreach messaging and targeting based on what's converting best.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Partnerships Manager to understand ideal partner profiles (IPP) and sharpen targeting criteria over time.
- Share market feedback and prospect objections with the Partnerships/Marketing team to improve messaging and collateral.
- Stay current on CallHippo's product, pricing, and partner program structure to speak credibly with prospects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an SDR/BDR, ideally in SaaS, telecom, CRM or a partnerships/channel sales environment.
- Proven ability to consistently generate and book meetings through outbound prospecting (cold calling, email, LinkedIn).
- Strong communication, presentable and pitching skills - able to clearly explain a reseller/partnership value proposition to business owners and decision-makers.
- Resilient, target-driven, and comfortable with high-volume outbound activity and rejection.
- Good qualifying instincts - able to distinguish a genuinely fit prospect from a low-intent lead.
- Organized and disciplined in CRM hygiene and pipeline tracking (Using HubSpot knowledge preferred).
- Experience with sales engagement tools (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.) is a plus.
- Prior exposure to partner/reseller/channel sales models is a strong plus.
What Success Looks Like (First 3-6 Months)
- Consistently hitting/exceeding weekly and monthly qualified meeting targets for the Partnerships Manager.
- A well-defined, repeatable outbound process (messaging, sequences, targeting) that's producing predictable results.
- Strong CRM hygiene with clean, trackable pipeline data.
- Improving meeting-to-qualified-partner conversion rate through better targeting and qualification over time.
Why Join CallHippo
- Be the engine behind CallHippo's growing partner/reseller ecosystem, directly impacting company-wide revenue growth.
- Fast-paced, metrics-driven environment with clear targets and visibility into your impact.
- Clear growth path into Partnerships Manager, Channel Sales, or broader Sales/BD roles.
