Role Description
The Scrum Master is a full-time, on-site role based in Abroad. The role involves facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for cross-functional teams. The Scrum Master will support teams in writing and refining user stories, removing impediments, and ensuring that agile principles and practices are followed consistently. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, coaching team members on agile methodologies, tracking sprint progress, and promoting continuous improvement in delivery processes. The Scrum Master will also work closely with software development and business teams to align priorities and deliver value-driven solutions for internal systems and client-facing platforms.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sprint Planning and User Stories skills to effectively manage backlogs and organize work for agile teams.
- Candidates should possess excellent Analytical Skills to interpret metrics, identify process bottlenecks, and support data-informed decisions.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Software Development processes to work effectively with technical teams.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are highly beneficial.
- Experience working in agile environments, preferably with cross-functional or product-focused teams.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, manage conflict constructively, and encourage a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
