Role Description This full-time remote Scrum Master role is responsible for guiding one or more agile teams in applying Scrum practices and principles. The Scrum Master will facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, while removing impediments and promoting continuous improvement. The role includes coaching team members on agile values, refining and prioritizing user stories with product owners, and supporting effective collaboration between development, QA, and business stakeholders. The Scrum Master will also monitor team performance metrics, encourage transparent communication, and help ensure high-quality software delivery aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
- Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning, with the ability to support backlog refinement and iteration goals.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret team metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-informed improvements.
- Clear and professional communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and remote colleagues.
- Knowledge of user stories and agile requirements practices, including writing, refining, and prioritizing user stories.
- Understanding of software development processes and collaboration with engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Experience in a Scrum Master or similar agile delivery role; Scrum or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello) and remote collaboration platforms.
- Ability to foster a psychologically safe, inclusive team culture and support continuous learning and improvement.
