Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Middle School Science Teacher role based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad). The Science Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the middle school science curriculum — covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology fundamentals — aligned with CBSE standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, facilitating hands-on experiments and demonstrations, assessing student performance through assignments and tests, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, nurture curiosity and scientific thinking in young learners, support students' individual learning needs, participate in faculty meetings and school events, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote student progress and well-being.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in general Science Education, with the ability to teach across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at a middle school level
- Ability to make foundational science concepts accessible, engaging, and age-appropriate for middle school learners
- Status as a Qualified Teacher with appropriate training and certification for CBSE or equivalent curricula
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including designing structured, age-appropriate, and outcome-based lessons
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Education (with specialization in science), or a related discipline from a recognized institution
- Experience teaching at the middle school level, preferably in a CBSE environment
- Ability to conduct laboratory and activity-based sessions safely and effectively, following relevant guidelines and standards
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and respectful teaching practices
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and collaborate with the school's academic team
- Patience and enthusiasm for working with early adolescent learners, with an ability to build curiosity and confidence in science
