Role Description :
The PGT Physics role is a full-time, on-site teaching position based in Delhi, India. The educator will plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons for senior secondary classes, ensuring alignment with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, demonstrating experiments, assessing student performance, and providing individualized support where needed. The role also involves developing educational resources, integrating practical and theoretical aspects of Physics, mentoring students for board examinations and competitive exams, and participating in school events, parent interactions, and departmental meetings. The educator is expected to maintain a positive classroom environment, use modern teaching aids, and contribute actively to the school’s academic and co-curricular initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics, with the ability to teach core concepts at senior secondary level.
- Understanding of Radiation and related applications, enabling clear and safe classroom demonstrations.
- Background or familiarity with Theoretical Physics, supporting advanced problem-solving and conceptual clarity.
- Exposure to Medical Physics or applied Physics domains, helpful for connecting curriculum to real-world contexts.
- Proven experience in Physics Education, including lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
- Master’s degree in Physics (or equivalent) and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed. or equivalent) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms, and proficiency in English.
- Comfort with educational technology, laboratory equipment, and modern pedagogical tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, engage with parents constructively, and support holistic student development.
