Role Description The Sample Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai. This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end movement of patient samples between partner hospitals, diagnostic labs, and HaystackAnalytics facilities, ensuring timely pickup, transport, tracking, and delivery. The coordinator will maintain accurate records, update internal systems, and communicate sample status to relevant stakeholders, including clinicians, lab staff, and internal teams. Daily tasks include coordinating with courier partners, verifying sample documentation, monitoring adherence to handling and storage protocols, and escalating any delays or discrepancies. The role also involves supporting process improvements in sample logistics, assisting with inventory of sample collection materials, and contributing to compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and coordination skills, including experience managing logistics, scheduling, and tracking of materials or samples.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records, verify forms, and ensure data integrity in tracking systems.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with hospital staff, lab teams, courier partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess basic technical and computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, logistics or inventory software, and email and messaging tools.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and time-management skills to handle urgent requests, resolve issues in sample movement, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Relevant experience in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory operations, or medical logistics is beneficial.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality standards, sample handling guidelines, and regulatory or compliance requirements in clinical or lab environments is an advantage.
