Role Description The Logistics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Punjab, India. The role involves coordinating and monitoring daily logistics operations, including shipment planning, scheduling, and tracking to ensure timely delivery of goods. The Logistics Specialist will manage documentation for domestic and export movements, communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers, and resolve issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies. This position also requires maintaining accurate records, optimizing routes and costs, supporting supply chain planning, and collaborating with internal teams to meet service and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, monitor performance, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management to coordinate inventory, transportation, and warehouse activities.
- Candidates should possess Export-related skills to handle international shipment documentation, basic regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Relevant experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations is preferred.
- Working knowledge of logistics software or ERP systems and proficiency in standard office applications is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are important.
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is an advantage.
