Job details:
We're Hiring: Sales & Membership Manager (BDM — Club Memberships) — All Starr Club
💼 Title on job portals: Business Development Manager (BDM) — Club Memberships
🪪 Title on visiting card: Membership Manager
📍 Location: Jagatpura, Jaipur (on-site, full-time)
👤 Reports to: Club General Manager
👥 Team: 3–4 Membership Advisors (BDEs); works with the corporate sales manager and CRM executive
🗓️ Working pattern: 6 days a week, including weekends (peak visit days)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ABOUT THE CLUB AND THE ROLE
All Starr Club is relaunching as Jagatpura's social wellness club: a covered pool, badminton, squash, table tennis, billiards and a full Antimatter Fitness gym, with a café, member lounge, recovery zone and co-work space on the way.
You will own membership revenue for the whole club. That means leading the Founding Member launch, upgrading existing All Starr and Antimatter members to the new tiers, and building a sales team that sells a lifestyle, not a discount. You sell like a premium club, not a gym: through tours, relationships and follow-up.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1️⃣ Revenue and Planning
- Own monthly targets for new memberships, upgrades, renewals and membership revenue.
- Break targets down by advisor, tier and lead source; review daily and weekly.
- Recommend offers and pricing changes to the GM based on data, without discounting the brand.
2️⃣ Launch and Existing Members
- Run the Founding Member drive and the relaunch open house.
- Lead the call-and-meet programme to move every existing All Starr and Antimatter member onto the new tiers.
- Handle lifetime and legacy members personally with the upgrade offer.
3️⃣ Lead Generation
- Build lead channels: walk-ins, website, ads, referrals, residential societies, schools, hospitals and local businesses.
- Run society activations, referral campaigns and member-get-member events with the Marketing & Community Lead.
- Pass corporate leads to (or, until hired, manage) corporate membership sales.
4️⃣ Sales Process and Team
- Hire, train and coach 3–4 Membership Advisors; run a daily morning huddle.
- Make sure every lead is logged in the CRM within 5 minutes, called back within 1 hour, and followed up on day 1, 3 and 7.
- Set the tour standard: guided tour of all floors, ending in the lounge, with a trial offered.
- Review every lost lead and sharpen the pitch and objection handling.
5️⃣ Renewals and Retention
- Run renewal contact at 60, 30 and 7 days before expiry.
- Work with coaches and front desk on members whose visits are dropping.
- Track why members leave and report it monthly.
6️⃣ Reporting
- Daily sales dashboard; weekly funnel review with the GM; monthly report on revenue, tier mix and lead sources.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
TARGETS AND KPIs
(Numbers are set monthly with the GM once the combined member baseline is known.)
- Membership revenue vs target: 100%+ each month
- Lead-to-tour conversion: 50%+ of qualified leads
- Tour-to-joining conversion: 25–35%
- Tier mix: Rising share of Club and Family tiers
- Existing-member upgrades: Every current member contacted within the first 60 days
- Renewal rate: 65%+ of expiring members renew
- Referral share: 20%+ of new members from referrals
- CRM discipline: 100% of leads logged; follow-ups on time
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
✅ Must Have
- 6–8 years in sales, with at least 2 years leading a team, in premium clubs, hotels, resorts, real estate, luxury retail or premium fitness.
- A record of hitting high-ticket sales targets (₹50,000+ per sale) with families and HNI customers.
- Comfortable with CRM, dashboards and Excel/Sheets.
- Fluent, confident spoken English and Hindi; well groomed.
- Graduate; an MBA in sales or marketing is a plus.
➕ Good to Have
- Has run a membership launch or pre-sales campaign.
- Network in Jaipur's residential societies, corporates and schools.
- Experience with timeshare, club or hospitality membership sales.
⭐ Traits
- Sells with warmth and honesty, not pressure.
- Disciplined about follow-up and numbers.
- A coach who builds the team's skills, not just a top seller.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
💰 Fixed salary: ₹3-5 LPA
📈 Incentives: Monthly incentive on team membership revenue above target, with higher rates for Club/Family tiers and upgrades; quarterly bonus for renewal rate.
🎁 Benefits: Club membership, health insurance, and growth into a multi-club sales role.
