Role Description The Sales Manager will lead and develop a team responsible for driving client acquisition, revenue growth, and product penetration for Anand Rathi Share and Stock Brokers Ltd. in Patna. This full-time, on-site role includes supervising daily sales operations, setting and monitoring sales targets, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Sales Manager will engage with existing and prospective clients, promote investment products and services, and coordinate closely with branch staff, business associates, and regional leadership. Additional responsibilities include analyzing sales performance, preparing periodic reports, supporting marketing initiatives, and enhancing customer experience through proactive service and relationship management.
Qualifications
- Strong sales management capabilities, including team leadership, target setting, performance monitoring, and coaching.
- Proficiency in client relationship management, with proven ability to acquire, retain, and grow individual client portfolios.
- Sound understanding of financial markets, investment products across asset classes, and basic regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ability to use digital platforms, CRM tools, and basic office software to manage sales activities and reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the capacity to explain financial products clearly and ethically.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., NISM) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in broking, banking, NBFC, or financial services sales, preferably in a branch or regional role.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external business associates in a fast-paced environment.
