Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Kharagpur-I. The Sales Executive will identify and acquire new business customers and truck owners, conduct regular field visits, and build strong relationships with local traders, manufacturers, and transport partners. Responsibilities include explaining WheelsEye’s services and digital platform, generating leads, delivering product demos, negotiating terms, and closing sales. The role involves tracking sales performance, maintaining accurate records in CRM or internal tools, and providing post-onboarding support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. The Sales Executive will collaborate with operations and support teams to resolve customer issues, gather market insights, and contribute to local growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated sales and business development abilities, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Strong customer relationship management skills, with experience in field sales, client engagement, and account servicing.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present services clearly and handle objections effectively.
- Good understanding of local markets; experience in logistics, transport, or FMCG/SME sales is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in on-site, field-based environments, manage time efficiently, and meet targets.
- Comfort with using mobile apps, CRM tools, and basic digital platforms for tracking activities and reporting.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel locally, build community connections with truck owners and traders, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
