Position: Sales Engineer – Semiconductor Distribution
Location: Chennai (Work from Home with Field Sales)
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Experience: 2–5 years (Relevant industry experience mandatory)
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer with experience in the Semiconductor Distribution industry. The role is primarily work from home, with frequent travel for client meetings and business development activities across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the semiconductor distribution market.
- Meet OEMs, EMS companies, and industrial customers to generate sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable semiconductor products and solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers for order execution and delivery.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide regular sales reports, market updates, and competitor analysis.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Semiconductor Distribution is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical understanding of semiconductor components and electronic products.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage field sales activities.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings.
