Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Kolkata. The Sales Engineer will work closely with customers to understand their coding and printing requirements, demonstrate BTPrint’s products, and recommend appropriate solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting product presentations, preparing quotations, managing the sales pipeline, and following up on leads and existing accounts. The role involves providing basic technical support during pre- and post-sales activities, coordinating with service teams for installations and maintenance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Sales Engineer will also maintain accurate records in CRM or sales systems and contribute feedback to improve products and services.
Qualifications
- Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to understand customer requirements, configure solutions, and support product implementation.
- Sales and Customer Service skills to manage the sales cycle, build relationships, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Strong Communication skills to present technical information clearly, collaborate with internal teams, and document client interactions.
- Basic knowledge of industrial printers, coding and marking equipment, or related hardware (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, visit customer locations, and manage field activities as needed.
- Proficiency with standard office software and CRM tools for reporting, documentation, and pipeline management.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, electronics, mechanical, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Prior experience in industrial equipment, printing solutions, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
