Role Description The Sales Coordinator role at Evolve Energy Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves supporting the sales team by managing inquiries, coordinating customer appointments, and tracking leads and opportunities. The Sales Coordinator will prepare quotations and sales documents, maintain updated records in the CRM or sales tracking tools, and monitor the status of proposals and orders. Day-to-day tasks include responding to customer queries, following up on leads, coordinating with operations and finance for seamless order processing, and assisting with the preparation of sales reports and presentations. The role also entails working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely communication, efficient sales operations, and a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or any related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Sales, Sales Support, or Sales Coordination (Freshers can also apply).
- Basic knowledge of sales processes, customer handling, and sales documentation.
- Strong coordination skills to work effectively with the sales team and other departments.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Tamil.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software is an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn about solar products and the renewable energy industry.
