Role Description The Robotics Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Patna. This role involves planning and delivering engaging robotics and STEM lessons, workshops, and lab sessions for school students across various age groups. The trainer will demonstrate and explain robotics kits, sensors, controllers, and related tools, while guiding students through project-based activities and competitions. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, maintaining lab equipment, supporting curriculum development in robotics, AI, IoT, and 3D printing, and documenting student progress. The Robotics Trainer will also collaborate with school staff, conduct training sessions for teachers when needed, and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment for all participants.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in robotics and STEM concepts, including basic electronics, programming (e.g., Scratch, Arduino, Python), and mechanical design.
- Experience with educational robotics platforms or kits (such as LEGO, Arduino-based kits, or similar systems) and hands-on lab facilitation.
- Effective classroom management and training skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to school-aged students.
- Ability to design lesson plans, projects, and assessments aligned with STEM curricula and school requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and students.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related technical field; teaching or training certification is an advantage.
- Comfort using basic productivity and presentation tools (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace) for content preparation and reporting.
- Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or conducting workshops for children or young learners is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated passion for STEM education and a commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory learning practices.
